Halo & Hutch, an Australian women’s clothing store approached us looking to elevate their online presence and increase sales. While they had built a loyal customer base and offered high-quality, on-trend collections, their existing website no longer reflected the sophistication of their brand and wasn’t converting as well as they knew it could. They wanted a redesign that would feel fresh, and easy to navigate so that customers could browse collections effortlessly, discover new arrivals, and checkout without any friction. The client’s goal was not only to improve aesthetics but also to create a more intuitive and seamless shopping experience that would directly translate into better conversion rates and stronger customer loyalty.
We addressed these goals with a comprehensive redesign focused on conversion rate optimisation. We revamped the site with an improved, visually striking rotating promotion slider to showcase current promotions and seasonal collections, as well as size swatches and filters onto the collection pages to help customers make quicker decisions.
All core pages were redesigned for better visual appeal and easier navigation, while product pages were enriched with additional information to give customers confidence in their purchases. We also incorporated better, more engaging calls-to-action (CTAs) throughout the site, making it easier for visitors to take the next step — whether it was adding items to their cart, signing up for newsletters, or completing their purchase.
Finally, we streamlined the checkout process, minimised distractions, and ensured a smoother path to conversion. The result was a 19% improvement in the conversion rate with customers engaging more with products, exploring collections longer, and completing their purchases with greater ease.
