Do, Be, Become provides occupational therapy services in Melbourne and in the regional South East in Victoria. We were tasked with revamping the website, creating a new logo, and website branding.
Our team focused on creating a warm, friendly, and approachable website that would be easily accessible to people with disability. Drawing inspiration from the lush green scenic views Gippsland is known for, we incorporated branding colours that reflect the green and gold landscapes while paying homage to the bee in Do Be Become’s original logo. During this project, we also sourced stock imagery for the website.
The font Lexend was chosen for its ability to reduce visual stress and improve reading performance. Lexend was initially designed with dyslexia and struggling readers in mind but was later discovered to benefit a wider audience by Bonnie Shaver-Troup, creator of the Lexend project
The logo was to be featured not only on the website but business cards, social media, and uniforms. Working with the previous logo, we featured the bee with a starting point and flight path to symbolise the journey of progression, aligning with not only the business name but also serving as a visual metaphor for the transformative impact the therapist’s services can have on their client’s lives.
